SYNOPSIS

Atlantic ridging will shift south of the northeast Florida waters
today as a surface trough takes shape to the north of our region.
This surface trough will remain situated just north of the southeast
Georgia waters through Friday, with increasing chances of afternoon
and evening showers and thunderstorms beginning on Thursday.
Prevailing offshore winds are expected into the upcoming weekend,
with daily sea breezes developing near the coast and evening wind
surges offshore.
